Tidal Bay Community Land Co-operative (Tidal Bay) embraces continued opportunities for the development of future mixed income housing for residents of Nova Scotia through new development and expansion; and will be able to build community housing capacity to strengthen and grow the community affordable housing sector.

We’re excited to share that our latest development at 45 Beeches Road in Pictou, a 27-unit apartment-style building, is set to break ground in Fall 2025. Construction is expected to span approximately 17 months, with completion anticipated in early 2027.

Tidal Bay will continue to expand its pipeline of acquisitions and new housing developments, identify opportunities for amalgamations with existing local housing providers and co-operatives, and support the growth of the community housing sector in Nova Scotia.
